Marriage Equality across the US
This site is devoted to assisting loving couples across the US who want to marry the person they love. Not all states currently allow same-sex marriages, so for many people, getting married requires a temporary trip to a state that welcomes and supports your love.
There are legal, financial, and logistical details to work through in order to plan an out-of-state gay or lesbian wedding. We have pulled together a wealth of resources to help you make informed choices and to ultimately deliver the emotional, legal, and financial security that often only comes through legal marriage. Congratulations on starting the investigation!
Today there are 12 states plus the District of Columbia that offer full marriage equality to their citizens. Are you looking to get married, but live in a state that does not allow you? This site helps you plan your out-of-state wedding, select enthusiastic vendors who support your love, and be aware of your wedding’s possible implications back at home.
Celebrate your love and legally get married in a state that supports full LGBT equality for same-sex gay and lesbian couples. Support those businesses who embrace equality for all!
